If you ever feel stuck in your head, emotionally disconnected or aware that there is far more potential in your body than you’re accessing, you’re not alone. Many people reach a point where they know they need a deeper mind body connection to move forward.
This is where Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI) can help.
What is SRI?
SRI is a body based practice that uses breath, movement and focused awareness to strengthen the connection between your body and mind. It supports you to move through the 12 Stages of Healing created by Dr Donald Epstein. These stages guide you from overwhelm and disconnection to greater clarity, resilience and inner resourcefulness.
What you’ll learn in this workshop
In this 60 minute session, Rachael Talbot introduces SRI and guides you through an experiential journey of the first two stages. You’ll learn simple tools you can use straight away to feel more grounded, open and connected to yourself.
You will explore:
How to connect to your body more fully
Where you already feel ease and how to amplify it
How to shift your state in an instant and access more resourcefulness
How your mind can support your body
How to respond instead of react in moments of pressure
If you’re watching this from home, find a quiet space where you can lie down and tune in without interruption.
