You are Not Your Self-talk
Have you ever noticed that when your inner gremlins start self-criticizing, it’s literally a “voice in your head”?
That’s your ego talking!
It saps your energy and worse, your brain takes you at your word and creates this as a reality.
But this can be changed.
It starts with awareness.
Observe your self-talk without:
- Repressing it
- Trying to fix it
- Or indulging it - you will know when this happens because keywords include lots of “I” and “me” - i.e. the “self”- in “self-talk”
By just witnessing it, you step back far enough to notice the stories, programs, patterns and beliefs that have been running your mind, and allow the space to be more objective and less-reactive.
To choose more constructive ways of thinking, believing and acting.
Remember, you are not your self-talk. You are the amazing consciousness experiencing it.
