Dealing with Stress
Stressed out about being so stressed?
Permanent stress comprises your immune system, inhibits your sex drive, creates permanent memory loss (as blood is constantly diverted from your brain for flight/fight response).
Not only that, but so much time, effort and energy on just reacting to stuff, or not thinking strategicially.
Hmmmmmm, if this was a product description, no one would buy it! Yet most of us are so used to living like this with hectic jobs, families and multiple demands on ourselves, that we think we don't have a choice.
In this interview with the wonderful Clare Davis I share some practical, simple techniques to help you manage your stress, including:
- getting intentional with your time from the moment you wake up
- framing your day strategically (ask yourself what can I do today that will give me 10 times the impact with half the effort?)
